Stacy Collins is our new Events & Hospitality Associate. With over 20 years of experience, and a deep love for Jesus and service, she is joining us ready to bring more hearts to Christ on retreat.
Born and raised in Iowa as a cradle catholic, she and her husband settled in Westfield and joined St Maria Goretti Church 10 years ago. While there, she has been active in many ministries, including choir, wedding coordinating, Boy Scouts, fundraising dinners, and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Her passion lies in leading the Sisterhood of Marietta, a prayer and fellowship group for high school young women.
For the last 12 years, her main vocation has been motherhood, raising her two young children. She has devoted many hours to ministry, while also being able to enjoy being a mother. Now that her children are in school full-time, she has felt called to rejoin the work force. She began working with our exclusive caterer, Keltie Sullivan, managing marketing and social media for her restaurant, The Angry Donkey. A partnership was formed, making her a natural fit at the St. Joseph Retreat & Conference Center.
In her free time, Stacy loves to spend time with her family watching movies and playing games, in prayer and fellowship with her friends, cheering on her University of Northern Iowa Panthers, making and listening to music and reading.
While she adores her confirmation saint, Therese of Lisieux, the motto she lives by is of Edith Stein “The world doesn’t need what women have, it needs what women are”.
