Daily themes include: Holiness and Hope, Grief, Forgiveness, and Gratitude. Each half hour session will include music. Participants may elect to have a prayer partner for the retreat as well.
After registration, guests will receive a link to log in each day from 9 am to 9:30 am and again from 3 pm to 3:30 pm, January 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2021.
Sister Connie, the tenth and youngest child in her family, was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 1964 entered the Sisters of Providence three months later and has been a Sister of Providence for 56 years. She holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Indiana State University, a Masters of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity College, and professional certification in Group Facilitation/Group Counseling as well as professional certification as a Grief Specialist and as a Spiritual Director.
Sister Connie spent ten years as a High School Teacher, Business Officer and Director of Development and thirty-five years in parish ministry as a Director of Religious Education, Pastoral Associate and Parish Life Coordinator. She currently lives with two other Sisters of Providence in Indianapolis, IN, and ministers as a Retreat Director, a Spiritual Director, and a Grief Specialist. She also serves as the Coordinator of the Fatima Retreat House Step-Up Retreat Program which offers three retreats to men and three retreats to women each year who live in shelter housing and are in early recovery from addiction.
