Spirituality of the Liturgy of the Hours

This retreat is designed for people who regularly pray the Liturgy of the Hours and desire to enter into the experience more prayerfully. Conferences will cover the structure of the prayers, thematics and nuances incorporated to help you pray. There will be an optional Office of Readings opportunity as well. Mass, breakfast, lunch and prayer time will round out the retreat.

7 pm Conference on Night Prayer 

8 pm Pray Night Prayer 

8 am Breakfast 

8:45 am Conference on Morning Prayer 

9:30 am Pray Morning Prayer 

9:45 am Prayer time 

11:45 am Mass 

12:30 pm Lunch 

1:30 pm Conference on Daytime Prayer 

2:15 pm Pray Daytime Prayer 

3 pm Conference on Vespers 

4 pm Pray Vespers  

4:30 pm Dismissal

Led by Fr. David Huemmer, Chaplain and Spiritual Director at the St. Joseph Retreat & Conference Center  

6:30 pm Friday, August 11 to 4 pm, Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the St. Joseph Retreat & Conference Center. Please have dinner prior to checking into the retreat.  

Cost: $100, includes Keltie & Co. Catering breakfast and lunch. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions.  

Carpenter’s Shop gifts will be open at the end of the retreat.
