Saturday, April 1, 2023, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PMWrap yourself in prayer at this Women's Retreat for the Wives of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Carmel, IN. In the morning conference, Fr. David Huemmer, Chaplain at the St. Joseph Retreat & Conference Center, will discuss silent prayer with sacred reading (Lectio Divina). Following Mass and at Keltie & Co. Catering lunch, he will share basic Ignatian prayer principles. Time for personal prayer and reconciliation round out the day.
9 am Welcome and brief history of SJRCC9:15 am Session One: Prayer in the Monastic Tradition: Silent Prayer with Sacred Reading (Lectio Divina) 10:30 am Prayer Time 11:45 am Mass 12:30 pm Lunch
1:15 pm Session Two: Basic Ignatian Prayer Principles: Quieting the Mind with Meditation and Contemplation 2:15 pm Prayer Time 3 pm daytime prayer/gift shop open
3:15 pm *reconciliation available for one hourTime for prayer, Mass, and Lunch round out the day.
