Deacon Steve, ordained in the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana in 2005, will lead a day of spiritual reflection and renewal, integrating our Catholic faith with the practice of law. Deacon Miller is an attorney (inactive status), and served as the director of deacon formation for the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana for over 15 years, overseeing the five-year formation path for deacons, as well as the formation of their wives. Deacon Miller has led over 25 retreats for laity, diaconal candidates and ordained deacons. Deacon Miller is adept at helping laity understand how to live a more dynamic spiritual life, since deacons, like laity, are immersed in the secular world, and maintain their own livelihoods and homesteads.
