Experience the Life of a Monk or Nun, $170

Ever wondered what life is like in a monastery or convent? Experience the basic life of a monastic by following a monastic schedule that will include time for Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, private prayer, meals, as well as work periods!  Conferences on Lectio Divina, Liturgy of the Hours, and the spirituality of work round out the weekend. Live out the Benedictine motto: ORA ET LABORA “Pray and Work” at this unique retreat.  

Led by Fr. David Huemmer, Chaplain and Spiritual Director at the St. Joseph Retreat & Conference Center 

7 pm, Friday, July 16, 2021 to 3 pm, Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the St. Joseph Retreat & Conference Center in Tipton, IN. Carpenter’s Shop gifts will be open during the retreat.  

Cost: $170, includes a private, single, twin guest room with en-suite bathroom and hotel amenities and five Keltie & Co. Catering meals.
