Each year, we offer at least one St. Joseph Day of Reflection in honor of our patron. For 2023, the St. Joseph the Worker feast day retreat will take a service-oriented turn.
Join us in honoring St. Joseph the Worker with a day of volunteering at the St. Joseph Retreat & Conference Center. Following 9 am mass with Fr. David Huemmer, guests may help with indoor or outdoor tasks like picking up sticks, weeding, or spreading mulch outdoors. Indoor tasks like light cleaning, organizing and office work is available as well.
After a Keltie & Co. Catering lunch, guests will complete a second volunteer session. The day will end with Afternoon Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours.
This free event runs from 9 am to 3 pm and is limited to the first 20 registrants. Volunteers may bring rakes, shovels, gloves and a water bottle.
“Last year we hosted a Volunteer Day centered around Earth Day,” said Stacy Collins, hospitality & events associate. “We’re excited to connect what we hope will become an annual event to our patron saint.”
Register HERE before April 21st.
