S. Mary Anne Albert, SSSF is a former resident director at St. Joseph Retreat with 25 years experience in spiritual direction and retreat directing. Mary Anne earned her MS at Loyola University, IPS, and studied at the Institute of Spiritual Direction.
Dee Bernhardt, MA currently serves as Pastoral Associate/Campus Minister at St. Augustine University Parish and the UW-Platteville Catholic community. Dee was trained at Creighton University in Omaha, NE and has16 years experience,
S. Dawn Capilupo, OSF resides in Milwaukee where she has served as a Spiritual Directress and Retreat Guide since 1979, and now has a private full-time ministry in these areas. Dawn also has a wealth of experience in health care and education.
Mrs. Jennifer Christis is an independent consultant in ministry throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. She conducts trainings, workshops, adult and family programs and is a retreat leader and spiritual director. Married, she is the mother of four young adult children. Jennifer teaches at the Ministry Formation Institute of the John Paul II Center and the St. Clare Center for Ministry Formation at Cardinal Stritch University. She self-publishes catechetical materials for parishes.
Fr. John Czyzynski, SCJ, is the current director of novices for the Priests of
the Sacred Heart in the Hyde Park area of Chicago. Trained in spiritual direction at the Institute for Spiritual Leadership, John has over 30 years experience.
Rev. Msgr. James Feely is a retired priest of the diocese of Green Bay. He has served as spiritual director and administrator of Holy Name Retreat House on Chambers Island, WI. Fr. Jim has also directed retreatants at the Jesuit Retreat House in Oshkosh, WI.
Sr. Jean Hinderer, CSA, has a Masters of Pastoral Studies from Loyola University in Chicago, IL. Jean’s spiritual direction preparation was done at the Franciscan Spirituality Center in LaCrosse, WI. Currently, she is engaged in the establishment of IGNITE! at the Vocation Development Center at Marian College, Fond du Lac, WI.
Sr. Joetta Huelsman, PHJC is presently the director of John XXIII Retreat Center in Hartford City, IN. She is a
Graduate of the Shalem Institute of Spiritual Formation. Trained in Ignatian Spirituality, Sister Joetta has been directing retreats both nationally and internationally for more than 20 years
Sr. Ann Kelley, OSF, has been involved in retreat and spiritual direction ministry for 25 years at various centers in Wisconsin and Michigan. Ann trained at the Jesuit Center for Spiritual Renewal in Wernesville, PA and at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. She also holds a certificate from the Wholistic Growth Center in Little Falls, MN.
Sister Pat Kieler, SDS, has directed individuals for nearly 25 years and given group contemplative prayer retreats for 13 years at our center. She also directs and gives retreats at Siena Center, Racine; Jesuit Retreat House, Oshkosh, WI; and Redemptorist Retreat House; Oconomowoc, WI.
Br. Ray Kozuch, SCJ, is the current administrator of St Joseph Retreat. Ray received his training at Purdue University, Marquette University and Sacred Heart School of Theology. He has served as formation director for the Priests of the Sacred Heart, in Senior Care and Provincial Administration. He is currently a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and a specialist in ministry and aging issues.
Sr. Geraldine Krautkramer, OSF, currently serves as part-time Pastoral Associate in a large parish while also acting as director and supervisor for the Diocesan Lay Formation Program for Green Bay. She also teaches the Theology of Pastoral Care at St. Norbert College. Trained at the La Cross, WI Franciscan Spirituality Center, Gerri has been doing spiritual direction for eight years.
Mrs. Lee LeVoy was trained as a spiritual director at the Institute of Spiritual Companionship in Evanston, IL. She has extensive experience in parish ministry and a MA in Religious Studies from Mundelein College, Chicago, IL. She and her husband operate “Sanctuary,” a place of quiet and solitude, in Ellison Bay, WI.
S. Marie Regine Redig, SSND, is currently semi-retired, continuing to minister in spiritual guidance and retreats in the Milwaukee area. “Gina” received formal training at the Jesuit School of Theology in the Institute for Spiritual Leadership and continues updating annually through a variety of workshops and participation in a peer supervision group.
S. Sharon Roedl, SSND is currently involved in spiritual direction and retreat ministry in the Milwaukee and surrounding area. Sharon was trained in spiritual direction at the Focus on Leadership Program in Denver, Colorado, facilitated by John Futrell, SJ. Sharon continues to participate in ongoing courses and workshops as she has over the 25 years she has been in this ministry.
Fr. Ron Stua. CSM, M.Div. is a former novice master for the Claritian Missionaries. Ron has served in parish and campus ministry and has lived in both Zambia and Cameroon, Africa. He serves as spiritual director and supervisor at the Claret Center in Hyde Park, Chicago, IL.
Fr. Willie Van De Loo, a Senior Priest from the Diocese of Green Bay, has been active in Cursillo, spiritual direction, education and parish ministry since his ordination in 1955. He served as Vicar for Priests 1995-2002.
Dr. John WIllliams has a Ph.D in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy and Supervision, as well as an S.T.M. in Theology from St Mary's Seminary. John has been directing and instructing deacons in the La Crosse diocese for several years. He is most acquainted with Jesuit and Franciscan spirituality with a familiarity of Zen.
